Tracy Morgan moved to Rehab

Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan has been transported from an intensive care unit to rehabilitation center to start the next step in his recovery from a limo crash accident, his publicist, Lewis Kay, revealed in a statement to CNN on Friday (June 20). In addition to providing an update on Morgan’s location, the statement also gave insight to his condition.

“Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next fee weeks,” Kay stated. “While he is continued to show signs of Improvement, he still has a ways to go.”

Within the issued statement was a message from Morgan and his fiancé Megan Wollover expressing their appreciation and gratitude for the staff of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Tracy Morgan was injured during a limo bus crash on the New Jersey turnpike back on June 7 resulting in broke ribs, nose and leg. The First Sunday actor was leaving a performance at the Dover Downs Casino and Hotel near Cranberry Township, NJ before the accident occurred.

The vehicle that rear-ended Morgan’s limo was a semi truck that was driving over the speed limit, operated by a driver who was near his drive time limit.
