Big Brother comes through in the clutch again! This morning LA bred rapper Nipsey Hussle took to Twitter to express his gratitude for RocNation CEO and rap legend Jay Z after Life+Times posted a picture of 100 copies of Young Nip’s new project, Crenshaw with the hashtag “#NewRules.”

In case you missed it, Nip released the new mixtape giving his fans the option to purchase it for $100. Though a bit pricey, the hefty price included an autograph in 14K gold from Nipsey himself, a bottle of Rick Ross’s premiere champagne Belaire, plus entrance to a secret show to be announced at a later date. The idea behind the price was to promote a movement of support with fans and artists directly, while eliminating the troubles of labels and business involvement. He brought in the release with a midnight exclusive autograph signing on Tuesday, October 8, as well as creating website for those that chose to hop online.

As we know, Hov is no stranger to the cutting middle man mantra as he bought a million copies of his own album, Magna Carta, Holy Grail this summer and gave to Samsung phone users as a complimentary app. In turn, the hip-hop mogul made the push to platinum in a matter of days.

No word if the two have something for us in store music wise, but we DEFINITELY wouldn’t mind a collaboration in the future. To purchase the album, head over to improud2pay.com or download on datpiff.com.
