Lil Wayne’s long-awaited Carter V has been put through the ringer on many different occasions, including multiple date changes, multiple singles and multiple headaches. But, despite the topsy-turviness that is the YMCMB album release schedule, it appears the wait for C5 is finally over — Mack Maine confirms with KarenCivil.com that Carter V will officially be dropping on December 9th.

After we broke the news that Carter V would not be dropping on its scheduled release date (October 28) as originally planned, Wayne made up for his delay by dishing out an incredible new track titled “Gotti” featuring the legendary LOX crew. Weezy’s lyrical athleticism on the track gives us hope that the wait for Carter V will most certainly be worth it. The LOX compliment Weezy’s strong verses with a nice, lyrical touch of their own, making for a great track.
