Slaughterhouse - House Rules

The end of 2013 and thus far in 2014 has sparked a new trend in music as artists are now dropping new songs, videos and even full projects seemingly out of nowhere. With very little warning, next up to bat is the Aftermath supergroup Slaughterhouse who has just dropped a brand new mixtape titled House Rules.

With no features, Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9 deliver a consitent 10-track project that includes production from Harry Fraud, Illmind, AraabMuzik, DJ Pain 1 and more. Two weeks ago, we heard their hot new single “SayDatThen“, which gave listeners new life, and now after listening through these other 9, it appears Slaughterhouse is as focused as ever.

The 4-man army has big plans this year as they have already wrapped up the North American leg of their tour, are currently working on their upcoming album Glasshouse as well as their new rap battle league named Total Slaughter (with assistance from Eminem), and to top it off, we can expect individual projects from each MC sooner rather than later.

There’s no word on when Glasshouse will be out, but their inaugural Total Slaughter event will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on July 12th, where Joe Budden will take on Hollow Da Don. Purchase tickets for that event here.
