The San Francisco 49ers made some serious roster changes today (Nov. 5), which included the release of DB Nnamdi Asomugha, according to a report by ESPN. Asomugha signed with the 49ers this offseason after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles after two seasons of not living up to his 5-year, $60 million contract.

Asomugha may have time to be a stay-at-home dad now after sealing the deal with Kerry Washington this past summer. The couple married in a secret ceremony in June and Kerry is said to be about 4 months into a pregnancy carrying the couple’s first child. –Keith Reid-Cleveland
