It’s been clear that Robin Thicke misses his wife Paula Patton, but the problems with the “Blurred Lines” singer does not end there. In a deposition obtained by the Hollywood Reporter, Robin Thicke made it known that he didn’t do one sober interview while promoting his Pharrell Williams assisted track.

During a interrogation revolving around the lawsuit from Marvin Gaye’s family over “Blurred Lines,” Thicke detailed that he went into heavy drug abuse throughout the period when his wife Paula Patton left him back in February of this year.

“Everyday I woke up, I would take a Vicodin to start the day and then I would fill up a water bottle with vodka and drink it before and during my interviews,” Thicke shared.

PEOPLE reveals that during the interrogation, the prosecutor questioned Thicke about being an honest person, which brought insight into what made Paula Patton leave the R&B star.

“No. What’s why I’m separated,” Thicke said. “I told my wife the truth. That’s why she left me.”

Adding on to the sad developments of Thicke, he states that he lied about co-writing “Blurred Lines” out of jealousy. Fortunately for Thicke, he has not had Vicodin for two months, but the alcohol continues. Thicke comments that his closest friends spoke to him about visiting a luxury rehab center similar to The Holistic Sanctuary (https://www.theholisticsanctuary.com/rehab-centers/drug/luxury/), however, there are no plans in place for him to visit rehab for his drug or alcohol abuse.
