The Hollywood Reporter reports, that the “Party Rock Anthem”, which LMFAO is widely known for, contains the line “Every day I’m shuffling’,” which is similar to the hook from Rozay’s “Hustlin’.”

The lawsuit formally states,“The use of Hustlin’ in ‘Party Rock Anthem’ is readily apparent, despite the slight change from ‘Everyday I’m hustlin’ … to ‘Everyday I’m shufflin’… and constitutes, inter alia, the creation of an unauthorized derivative work.”

In addition to the use in the song, the lawsuit includes the ability to launch a successful clothing line with the phrase, has sold millions of copies and is licensed in various outlets of entertainment and advertisements.

Attorneys representing Ross and Jackson have shared that the issue has been mentioned to LMFAO, however the messages about their copyright infringement went ignored.
