Rich Homie Quan had quite the holiday weekend with a performance and release of new music. During his Fourth of July set at 3 Monkeys in Racine, Wisconsin, the Atlanta rapper slapped a member of the audience. The “Walk Thru” rapper was giving out daps in the crowd when an overzealous attendee attempted to grab him off stage.

RHQ stopped the music to inform the crowd what just occurred before extending his arm again to slap the fan. The following day (July 5), The 24-year-old rapper took to his Twitter to make one thing clear: “To set the record nobody save me.I slapped that nigga by myself.I do salute Chiraq for having my bak.But ain Neva been a fucknigga.”
