According to MissInfo, “Welcome home Remy Ma” is ahead of what is actually going on. Remy was supposed to have sauntered out of Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women at 8a.m. but due to some unknown circumstances she is still in custody.

A camp of friends, family, supporters all led by Papoose have anxiously awaited the facility’s doors to open revealing a newly-freed Remy Ma. Instead, officers from the facility approached Papoose which then prompted the rapper to leave along with his friends.

Revolt reports that the lady lyricist’s release is delayed due to a “disciplinary problem” on July 21st following a fight with a fellow inmate that resulted in her recent stay in solitary confinement. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Update: After a brief hold up, Remy Ma was released from Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women on Friday (August 1) at 3 pm. The Bronx rapper was met on the other side of the gate by Papoose only, with the rest of the people ready to great her waiting nearby not to complicate the release.
