OTF Nunu, Chicago rapper and first cousin to Lil Durk, was shot and killed in Chicago this afternoon (May 31). The Chicago Tribune reports the rapper was gunned down as he sat in his SUV in the parking lot of the Chatham Village Square mall, which is located on 87th Street and Cottage Grove.

Stacey Cooper, Police News Affairs Officer, stated the rapper was inside his vehicle when a shooter opened fire, hitting Nunu multiple times. After the shooting the rapper attempted to escape but crashed into the window of a nearby clothing store.  OTF Nunu, who was 21-years-old, laid in his SUV into the evening.

After the shooting, Twitter burst with tweets in condolences toward the slain rapper, including acknowledgements from Young Chop who had spoke to the rapper before his death. Check out the tweet from Chop and an image from the crime scene on the next page.
