Pharrell seems to be enjoying an extended victory lap after a great 2013. He recently won a Grammy for being the Producer of the Year, as well as one for his work on Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.” He’s also nominated for an Academy Award for “Happy,” a song that was made for the soundtrack for “Despicable Me 2” that eventually went on to have a 24-hour music video.

According to the Associated Press, Pharrell will now be performing at the Academy Awards and I would be surprised if he didn’t perform the song that got him there. And no, there’s no word on whether his hat will be in attendance.
