Pharrell will be playing point guard for the 2014 NBA All Star Games as he was announced as this year’s headliner for the Entertainment Series presented by Sean John at Macy’s.

The hat-toteing beatsmith will join other artists like NOLA native Trombone Shorty who will tip off the festivities at halftime with 20-time Grammy Award-winning band Earth, Wind & Fire, monochromatic diva Janelle Monáe, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dr. John and Compton’s finest Kendrick Lamar.

The 63rd annual All-Star games begin Sunday February 16 at 8p.m. Be sure to also catch the “Happy” crooner at this year’s Oscars spreading joy on stage as well.
