Young Money‘s very own Nicki Minaj, who was one of the headliners at this weekends V Festival, will not be performing due to illness. Her doctor ordered her to get some rest for at least a week in order to get a full recovery. The situation was explained in a statement that was released by a V Festival representative,

“As the artist herself boarded her flight from New York on Friday, she felt unwell again. This is despite having thought she had overcome her vocal cord issues from earlier in the week.”

While Minaj is out, the annual fest still has a heavy lineup which includes the likes of Rita Ora, Childish Gambino, The Killers, The Ting Tings, Tinie Tempah, LMFAO, Nneka and many others. Get well soon Nick!
