Chris Broussard of ESPN reports that the New York Knicks  have spoke on the possibility of proposing a blockbuster trade to the Los Angeles Clippers that would swap Carmelo Anthony for Blake Griffin.

The Los Angeles Clippers have also discussed the idea of the potential swap however neither team have engaged with one another about making the talks progress further.

Melo will be a free agent at the end of the year and with the Knicks not living up tot he potential contender expectations, many have wondered if the disappointing trend continues would Anthony be willing to resign.

On the other side of the spectrum Griffin is averaging a double-double on a Clipper team that is sitting in prime position in a competitive Western Conference as the fourth seed.

Would Melo in LA and BLAKEshow in NYC be good moves for the teams? Let us know in the comments below.

nah they should leave things the way the are ..carmello would not be a a good fit in L.A..it would be cool for the fans to see but mello on the clippers just doesn’t make winning sense
