The recent beef between Mistah F.A.B. and DJ Mustard turned to blows Sunday night (June 12) in the Bay Area. YG and DJ Mustard were performing at a club when the scuffle began, involving Mistag F.A.B. and men from YG and Mustard’s camp.

Following the brawl, rumors surfaced that both Mustard and YG’s chains were snatched. The L.A. based artists took to their Instagram to clear up the alleged lies.

“Who got robbed last night @yg who got slapped @yg??? Kill the noise !!!! We walked in the same way we walked out !!!!  #MKL #10summers !!! Much love to all the real ni**as in the bay !!!,” Mustard captioned his video on Instagram showing off his watches and plenty of paper.

YG swiftly followed with a repost of the same video saying,” STOP WITH THE LIES!!!! NI**AZ KNOW HOW #THELABEL GET DOWN #DEATHROWRECORDS #RUTHLESSRECORDS TYPE SHIT ….. AYE @djmustard  YOU OKAY? , TELL THESE NI**AZ KNOCK IT OFF #MYKRAZYLIFE.”

The issue between F.A.B. and the LA-bred producer stems from a radio interview where F.A.B. fingers Mustard for stealing the bay area sound. “We created a sound in the Bay Area and it took several years for it to catch on,” F.A.B. told The Breakfast Club. “The Mustard sound that’s pippin’ right now…That was created in the Bay Area. We not mad at it at all. I’m not mad at it because I’m still able to get in and do what I do.”

During his own interview, Mustard responded to the claims with his own opinions on the matter. “I was born in the ’90s,” Mustard said. “I don’t even know what you’re talking about…I don’t speak to [F.A.B.] It’s not no beef. It’s just a simple fact that when you come up here, don’t say my name, talking about I steal this, I steal that when we just did a beat. You come up here and make it like Mustard’s stealing. How am I stealing? If it’s so easy, why don’t you make these beats?”

With an extended version of the brawl online, Mistah F.A.B. has released a statement detailing the fight and explaining above all his pride and integrity remains in tact. See the full statement on the following page and the fight above.
