It won’t be Coldplay, nor will it be Rihanna. Sources have confirmed to Billboard this year’s Super Bowl halftime show will feature a performance from Katy Perry.

The coveted spot during the early February Sunday showdown was narrowed down to Perry and the aforementioned two acts, but was believed to have been a position that would have to be paid to play. Reasons for the required cost were the high ratings that the show draws and the spike in areas like sales and touring.

On Saturday Katy Perry told ESPN College Gameday that she wouldn’t pay for the Super Bowl slot. Leaves you to wonder did Perry go back on her word or did NFL lift the cost?

While the news of the “Dark Horse” singer taking the stage is exciting, is it too much to ask for a Juicy J appearance?
