After Yeezus broke down barriers for Kanye West in the music world, it looks like he want to take things to the next level. While we haven’t had nearly any teasers or impressions of what’s to come from his upcoming album, which will be the follow-up to Yeezus, he might be gearing us up to put the whole project out at once. Reports over at The Sun are saying that Yeezy might put out a surprise album, similar to the way Beyoncé did with her self-titled project last year.

A source told Radar Online about Kanye’s marketing plan:

“Kanye has been working hard on the album for a lot of this year, but he’s known for cutting deadlines so it’s better if he can just put it out at the last minute,” said the source.

There were reports earlier this year that Kanye was “annoyed” and “feeling defeated” that Beyoncé’s “visual album” was so successful, because he had the idea of releasing videos and songs all at once first.

“He wanted to do a visual album for his ‘Dark Twisted Fantasies’ album, but everyone around him convinced him it wouldn’t work. That’s why he ended up doing one long movie to go with it [the 35-minute short film, ‘Runaway’].”
