Kanye West Made in America

Philadelphia, the original host location of the Made in America Festival, was rocked last night with the headlining performance from Kanye West. Taking over the Ben Franklin Parkway, Ye took the stage in front of the frenzy crowd who enjoyed hits from every Kanye album and his most heralded features. While on stage Ye gave us the latest of what’s on his mind by speaking on marriage, wanting to create more and his reaction to Jay Pharaoh’s spoof at the recent MTV Video Music Awards. While acknowledging and respecting the comedian for his craft, Kanye let Pharaoh know his views in a phone conversation. “I called Jay Pharaoh right after the MTV Video Music Awards and I said, ‘You know, I appreciate your show, but let me tell you about my story, let me tell you what I went through to get to that position,'” said Kanye. “I’m not making it a black or white thing right now, but I’m telling you if you see a black guy anywhere, he had to work 12 times as hard, excuse me.” Check out Kanye West’s set from Made in America in the videos above.
