Many were waiting for Kanye West to make a statement acknowledging the 10-year anniversary of The College Dropout. He chose to do it on his own terms and take to twitter. Kanye’s series of tweets started off by looking back on the long road it took to get the album out to the world then thanked his fans and supporters for their unwavering support over the past decade. He ended the moment by saying, “Ten years later I am still the same kid from Chicago, still dreaming out loud, still banging on the door. The doors may be heavier, but I promise you WE WILL BREAK THEM.” Check out all of the tweets after the jump.
