Fans that attended the #DefJam30 celebration may have missed the presence of Jhene Aiko on stage at the Barclays Center. While it may seem like the Souled Out singer failed to show at the celebration, she tells the story differently and states that assault on a member of her management caused her to leave.

Aiko responded to a fan on Instagram stating, “unfortunately me and my camp were told to “get the f*** out” by “workers” while I was waiting to go on stage, ….after this “worker” (male) physically assaulted a member of my management (female) ….we had to leave due to the disrespect and hostile environment.”
