It all started in Justin Timberlake’s dressing room during a 4-hour brainstorm in Philadelphia.

During a melding of creative minds, Jeezy and Jay Z came together to come up with the theme, lyrics and production for an untitled collaboration that Jeezy calls ” very much classic Jeezy and Jay Z,” according to the Wall Street Journal.

The untitled track was originally planned to be on Hov’s latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, that went on to sell over 500,000 units in its first week, but Jeezy felt that he had to claim it for his own.

“It was really a personal record for me, I told J, I love this record so much, it’s so personal for both of us but it’s got to be on my album,” said Jeezy in the WSJ article.

The theme of being “real personal” is something that Jeezy aimed to make stick for the entire album. According to Jeezy, the theme of the untitled Hov collaboration is “to stand tall and continue to conquer the world each and every day.” – Keith Reid-Cleveland
