Jay Z returns to his Life + Times site on his birthday to drop off a personal note for the second day straight. This time Hov gives insight on what he feels is the order of his 12 solo albums based on quality. Jay kicks off the rankings with his heralded debut Reasonable Doubt at number one and then ushers in the rest.

Giving a brief flashback to his hilarious time spent on Twitter earlier this year, Jay provides a few humorous yet honest anecdotes with his rankings. Through friendly jabs at Guru and Hip Hop, Hov reveals his feelings towards The Blueprint 2 as well as sums up The Black Album as “Classic.”
