The next time you see Jay Z pop a bottle of champagne you will know that he didn’t have to pay for it. Jigga expanded his portfolio once again by acquiring Armand de Brignac, the luxury champagne that is also known as “Ace of Spades.” 

The New York Times reports Jay Z and his new company acquired Armand de Brignac from Sovereign Brands. However, the report didn’t provide a name for the purchasing company or the amount that was agreed upon. In addition to the sale, Sovereign Brands released a full statement confirming the transition of ownership. 

Instead, Yvonne Lardner, global director of brand communications for Sovereign, stated, “He became interested in owning the brand and made us an offer we simply couldn’t refuse.”
