Gucci Mane always knows how to grab our attention — even when he’s in jail. Out of nowhere, Guwop releases a mediocre diss track to The Game, leaving many of us confused.

While it’s no surprise that Gucci dissed another rapper (he’s pretty good at this), the origin of his beef with Game appears to come out of nowhere and for once, wasn’t started by The Game. The Zaytoven-produced “diss” is titled “The Definition”, and maybe soon we’ll get an explanation of where this came from. I think we all can agree on one thing, however — The Game will retaliate sooner than later.

Despite the fact that Gucci will be behind bars until 2016, the 1017 Bricksquad leader doesn’t plan on slowing down one bit. In a recently recorded phone call from jail, Gucci discloses that on June 17th, he’ll be releasing albums from the Migos, Young Thug, and PeeWee Longway; one can only assume that new music from Gucci Mane himself will also be on the way.

It’s one thing for Gucci to want to remain relevant in an ever-changing industry, especially when he’s locked up and can’t do as many things as he could do if he was free. But on the contrary, this is not the route Guwop should be taking. What’s the goal here? What’s the motive? I think Gucci should focus on returning to old form, so that in 2016 when he’s a free man again, the world will embrace him like we did when he first entered the industry.

Until then, click the following page to listen to Gucci’s unwarranted diss and stay tuned for Game’s likely response.
