The childhood of Detroit rapper Eminem was the location of a fire damage this past Thursday. Local authorities arrived on the scene of 19946 Dresden StreetEast State Fair, just south of 8 Mile, at 6:20 p.m to witness fire coming from a second floor window, according to USA Today.

The two-story bungalow was saved after authorities were able to put out the flames with damage only affecting the top floor. No cause has been reported.

The home, which was most recently owned by Michigan Land Bank, is the same one on the cover of Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP and his latest The Marshall Mathers LP 2. –Keith Reid-Cleveland
