To celebrate Mother’s Day, Eminem releases the emotionally charged video, “Headlights,” off of the Marshall Mathers LP 2.

The Spike Lee-directed clip is shot from the perspective of Debbie Mathers, Eminem’s mother, who he’s had an openly complicated relationship with in the past.  “It’s a great, great story. It’s heartfelt, some pain in it, but that’s life,” said Lee. “So that’s why we’re here, back in the ‘hood, 8 Mile Detroit, shooting where all this took place.”
