Last night (November 4) the video powerhouse known as YouTube hosted it’s first annual awards YouTube Music Awards. The show, that took place at Pier 36 in Manhattan, was live-streamed via the video staple.

The awards show was hosted by actor Jason Schwartzman and comedian Reggie Watts and handed out a total of six awards throughout the evening  with Eminem collecting Artist of the Year and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis collecting an award for YouTube Breakthrough. In addition to the night’s winners Em, Lady Gaga, Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt and M.I.A. provided performances.
