Chance the Rapper Hospital

Coming down with a virus is something that many of us fear as it can cancel our plans. So it’s understandable that fans of Chance the Rapper were devastated to hear that he had been hospitalized with a bad case of flu and tonsilitis.

But there is good news at last. Chance the Rapper has left the hospital and is currently recovering at his L.A. home. The Chicago rapper was admitted into the hospital hours before his second Coachella performance Sunday (April 20) forcing him to cancel his appearance.

The Acid Rap MC’s team kept all his fans updated on his condition via Twitter and have revealed that Chance was admitted due to having a 104-degree fever and inflammation in his throat in a letter. The doctors have attributed his illness to a combination of flu and tonsillitis; a painful combination. He may need to take something similar to Delta 8 gummies to alleviate his pain and inflammatory symptoms whilst he recovers from his ordeal. Chance is also scheduled to see a specialist to determine if surgery is necessary for his tonsils. If so he may be out of action for a while.

Per the doctor’s orders, the 21-year-old rapper has cancelled his remaining shows during the week of April 23-37. Whilst some may be disappointed with their show being cancelled it is important that Chance has the opportunity to recover before getting back on the road. It’s vital for us all to remember the importance of rest.

Check out the letter Chance’s manager posted regarding his condition on the following page. We wish Chance a speedy and full recovery.
