Two men broke into rapper 50 Cent’s mansion on Poplar Hills Drive and were found hiding inside by police early this morning, police said.

Both men, Alexander Hernandez and Santos Padilla, were arrested on burglary charges. Hernandez was released on a $50,000 non surety bond. He was turned over to police in New Britain where he is wanted on outstanding warrants. Padilla was held on $50,000 bond.

A security guard called police about 6 a.m. to report an unoccupied, suspicious car in the driveway. The security guard also said a male remained inside. Hernandez, was found hiding in a closet, drinking a bottle of wine he had stolen from the residence, police said.

Padilla, was found hiding in another section of the house. Police search the rest of the mansion, but no other suspects were located. Hernandez and Padilla were in possession of marijuana when they were arrested.
