Billboard Breakdown – Nov. 16
by Karen
1. Mac Miller – Blue Slide Park – 144,000 – What more needs to be said that already hasn’t? Clap for that man whether you’re a fan of his music or not.
15. Wale – Ambition – 41,000 – So Wale’s over the 200K sold mark and he just released the “Tats On My Arm” video. I sure wouldn’t have minded if that song made the album.
22. Lil Wayne – Tha Carter IV – 25,000 – Will there ever be a video for “She Will”?
32. J. Cole – Cole World: The Sideline Story – 17,000 – Cole’s loving life across the pond and is soon to have 400K records scanned. Not bad for a guy people on Twitter were saying made the worst decisions as an artist a few months ago. We all remember, that right?
60. Pusha T – Fear Of God 2: Let Us Pray – 8,900 – Not mad at Pusha for re-upping on this and putting it out there to turn some profit. Just wait until the GOOD compilation drops next year.
119. Drake – Thank Me Later – 4,000 – People must be copping this in preparation for next week. If those predictions are correct, he’ll do nearly 70% of this number next week.
124. Wiz Khalifa – Rolling Papers – 3,700 – Remember this time last year when “Black & Gold” was on every radio station at least 10 times a day?
