1. Beyonce – 4– 115,000 – Gold by next week. Platinum by the end of the summer. And if she can somehow get Three Stacks out of hiding to shoot a video for “Party,” watch out. She’ll probably ride “Best Thing I Never Had” out for a minute though, not that I blame her.

7. Jill Scott – Light Of The Sun – 32,000 – This brings the total to roughly 223,000 making 300K a real possibility sometime in the future.

9. Big Sean – Finally Famous: The Album – 27,000 – What’s ironic is that even though the he’s seeing massive amounts of success right now – which is great for him, by the way – is the fact he’s only 115,000 copies sold. It just feels like he scanned more copies than that. Maybe his album was undershipped. Maybe it will be one of those projects that sells consistently every week for a few months straight. Maybe I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about. Or maybe it’s a combination of all three.

10. Lloyd – King Of Hearts – 26,000 – I’ve been a fan of Lloyd since “Southside.” But really, arguing over a bum ass hairstyle? Someone end the NFL and NBA lockouts soon, please.

58. Tech N9ne – All 6’s & 7’s – 7,000 – 100,000 copies sold. Just thought I’d mention that.

82. Curren$y – Weekend At Burnie’s – 5,900 – This guy is performing and smoking the best weed Europe has to offer. And his new album just sold 30G’s just off his movement alone. He’s doing ok for himself.

107. Kendrick Lamar – Section.80 – 4,300 – Much respect to K-Dot and all the spotlight he is receiving now because it’s the result of talent and hard work getting the opportunity to showcase themselves. That said, I haven’t been instantly blown away by this project. More listens could change that though.
