Last night, major music executive ‘Big’ Jon Platt celebrated his 50th birthday at Mastro’s steakhouse in Beverly Hills, and he was joined by some of the biggest names in hip-hop.

The veteran publishing executive, who is the President of Creative at Warner/Chappell Music, brought in his big milestone with tons of friends and family surrounding him, including the likes of Jay Z, Jermaine Dupri, Pharrell, Diddy, and more.

While it was amazing to see some of these names all in the same building, one of the highlights of the night came when Beyoncé led the crowd to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Big Jon.

The two have worked closely together over the years of Jon’s publishing career, so it was very fitting to have her sing, along with the support of some of today’s superstars. While he was formerly at EMI Records for 17 years, signing names such as Jay, Kanye, and Usher, he now currently has the publishing to all of Jay Z’s future work, as per a major deal with Roc Nation.

Later in the night, Hov took some photo booth photos with Pharrell, Jermaine Dupri, and some friends, with all of them sporting some huge smiles. Looks like it was an unforgettable night!
