In most recent inspirational news, not all rap artists are losing brand endorsements; some are gaining credibility within the eyes of publications, artists who you might not have expected. SRR Group has put together the new SFC Campagin “Star Fone Cases” in light to give back to the most recent tragedy know to our states; the bombings of the Boston Marathon. The full service entertainment company launched their Star Phone Case concepts as of May 13th titled “Boston Strong” and have rappers Soulja Boy and Waka Flocka Flame right by their side to endorse the brand. A west coast, east coast collaboration; newly signed RCA recording rap artist Kid Ink drops off a fresh new single titled “Bossin Up” off his approaching ”Almost Home” EP set to drop on the 28th of this month. The track features some witty rap lyrics from Bronx and Harlem natives French Montana x A$AP Ferg. Premiered by Funk Master Flex over at Hot 97.1, check the new track after the jump!

New freshman artist Tabius Tate hits the digital atmosphere today with the viral release of his “Determination” video. “Determination” is a serious lyrical freestyle cover of the famous track “Ready or Not” by the Fugees that was released in 1996. Assisted by black & white optic visuals, the Determination lyric video shows this new BMF Entertainment signed artist vocalizing the struggle he had coming up as a child and being an under-dog artist straight from Alabama with visions of reaching the peak of his career; Simply in effort to no longer see the ones around him struggle, Determination is the epitome of real lyricism. Apart from being the new face of Complex Magazine’s latest cover, singer Solange Knowles took to her twitter account to release some very interesting news. The “Losing You” singer announces her own record label company titled “Saint Records” in which she will be releasing all her new music and projects under. The record label will be a joint venture with major corporation SONY, that will act as a distributor for her new music. In preparation for The Weeknd‘s 4th project installment, the XO/Republic singer drops a new song teaser titled “John Carpenter”. The significance in name? We have no idea. The vibe of the song? Absolutely thrilling. “This ain’t nothing to relate to, but you can try anyway” sums of the snippet that we get from the new cut. The Weeknd’s new album “KissLand” has not had an official release date as of yet and still remains a mystery, but nonetheless you can check out the snippet after the jump!

After receiving exclusive drops from singer J.Drew such as the “Killer” trailer and a very private first listen download link, the entire EP “Never Coming Back” has officially been dropped and is one to please. “J.Drew flexes his musical muscle on the EP “Never Coming Back” and is the first and youngest producer signed to the Pharrell Williams imprint StarTrak. On “Never Coming Back” the Detroit native personifies the term “triple threat” by singing, writing, rapping and producing his way into your speakers”. Another video drop from the “Untouchable” Maybach Music Team this week; that video drop being the home-felt drop “Life Long” from rapper Rockie Fresh. The track features President Rick Ross and west coast MC Nipsey Hussle, who all gather together along with some real life visuals, tons of Belaire Rose and vintage Ferrari Testarossa’s. “Life Long”, the Dre Films directed production, features cameos from the Rockie’s entire MMG camp family including Stalley and Meek Mill. As the timer counts down until the release of French Montana’s “Excuse My French” album, the anticipation and buzz is only getting stronger. In preparation for the debut album drop on the 21st of this month, French Montana took to his hometown New York, where he hosted a complete listening party for a venue full of industry insiders, listeners and executives. The listening session, held at HILO night lounge in Meat Packing district just a few days ago included celebrity guests such as Wale, Stalley, Eve, Kaylin Garcia, Rene Graziano and more.
