Go to www.worldstarhiphop.com and what do you see? Nothing. Exactly. The controversial, equally as popular video website saw itself fall as the latest victim of the feds and their vendetta which have already seized sites like OnSmash.com, RapGodFathers.com and DaJaz1.com. If having WSHH taken down wasn’t already a controversial topic, 50 Cent did more than enough to add fuel to the fire by alledging it was he who was the cause of their demise. Taken from Curtis’ Twitter page:

I don’t know why people underestimate me. I just shut down WORLDSTAR for future advertising contact thisis50.com suckers lol … I put worldstar to bed, you don’t believe try me I will shut your sh*t down. Lol … I predict 2 more web sites will shut down this week. Take a guess who they are. Always the opportunist, 50 took to Hot 97 to address the situation first hand. Fif says that he necessarily did not have them shut down, but he does go to mediation in two weeks to see how much the site actually owes him for his advertising his likeness for two years. He says that WSHH encourages disrespect on every level possible and that he is thoroughly enjoying watching the downfall. Even with his malice towards WorldStar, 50 said that he is turning over a new leaf and being more positive in 2011.

Q, the CEO from WorldStar, called Angie after she finished with 50 and a completely different account of the situation was given. According to him, the entire situation is not due to Homeland Security or a hacker and they same situation happened in 2007 when the site was down for eight months due to their server. He also mentioned that he and Whoo Kid have been close since 1999 and that he and had a falling out after a miscommunication.

It’s all about which side you would choose to believe. Meanwhile, for those needing a WSHH fix, they’ve already set up an emergency site. Click here to satisfy your urges.
