50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather used to be best buds but now the two are involved in a constant feud. The light beef seemed to pick up steam last week after Floyd grouped Fif with Nelly and T.I. as “washed up rappers.” In typical 50 fashion, he responded in an Instagram video challenging to first redirect his shots at Nelly and then calling him out to read a few pages out of a Harry Potter book.

The back and fourth continued with Floyd responding on his own Instagram with pictures of some pretty hefty checks worth over $70 million dollars. Following the videos, the Queens rapper caught up with XXL and revealed that there isn’t any hate between himself and the boxer just a love/hate brother relationship.

“I don’t hate him, I love him, actually. Entering the sport of boxing is a reflection of that relationship. He doesn’t make any money away from the sport of boxing. That tells you when he’s done fighting, he’s done period. I just try to encourage him to do things away from the sport,” he explained. “It’s pretty tough to digest the concept that we don’t spend money the same. He spends all of his money. He lives a richer lifestyle than we actually live day to day. In the end, it’s not a sustainable lifestyle. I’ll have to help him when it gets too tough. We’ve had conversations about this.”
