Following current COVID19 safety guidelines, hip-hop star 21 Savage hosted his fifth annual “Issa Back 2 School Drive” this past weekend in Decatur, GA. 21 Savage’s back- to-school drive, which was presented by his “Leading By Example Foundation” in partnership with Chime, Juma.Org & Black Voters Matter, and M.O.B.B (March On Ballot Boxes), found the rapper providing free wifi, financial literacy toolkits, laptops, backpacks filled with school supplies, and face masks to young students and families. In total, 21 Savage was able to help close to 2,000 attendees receive essential help and items as we move into the school season.

Back in July, 21 Savage’s Financial Literacy Campaign successfully took on the “Bank Account At Home” online campaign nationally due to the effect of COVID19 upon the community. In addition to starting an initiative in partnership with Chime that offers financial literacy courses to youth nationwide, 21 Savage recently made a major donation of $25,000 to the City of Atlanta’s #ATLStrong COVID19 relief fund in support of the community.
