Hip-hop’s next big artist CupcakKe has officially dropped off the music visual to her chart-topping new record “Discounts.” Interestingly, the first visual for “Discounts” had already been shot and would’ve been out last week, but CupcakKe took to social media to reveal that she scrapped her previous concept as her new record was too big to be simple. Well worth the wait, CupcakKe not only delivered a unique and high-energy music video, but she perfectly integrates her hilarious and raw personality into the visual’s grocery store skits. In the video, CupcakKe’s main role is that of a free-flowing and funny cashier who has no problem telling it how it is and simply puts rude customers in their place.

CupcakKe has become the first independent female rapper to top the Apple US iTunes charts in every genre with “Discounts” as the lyrics on her latest record prove that the femcee is one of the hardest rapper’s coming up in the industry today. It appears that she may be preparing to sign soon too as she recently revealed news that 5 record labels have reached out to her and The song has performed tremendously on the charts and has earned over 1 million on-demand audio streams in the US from “Discounts,” which was an 89% increase in streams from the previous week according to Chart Data. Although CupcakKe has yet to confirm any news or details regarding a forthcoming project, we can definitely expect the rising rap star to be dropping a major project soon.
