In YG’s all-new music video for his latest single “Swag,” the popular hip-hop artist delivers hot bars in an energetic black and white setting. Featuring cameo’s from Snoop Dogg and Tyga, YG’s new visual entry embodies a Cali-vibe while also showing off the luxurious lifestyle of an entertainer. YG also boasts a variety of young black talent to showcase their talents during the video as he depicts recent moments in black history, such as when Colin Kaepernick first put his knee down during the national anthem. The official music video for “Swag” follows YG’s announcement of a forthcoming album in May. Naming the project “Laugh Now Kry Later!,” YG later shared the title track of the project with eager fans who are currently awaiting the rapper’s next major release.

During the video, YG makes clear reference to the Black Lives Matter movement as he consistently advocates and supports our black community during these tough times. In addition to teaming up with fellow musician Mustard and the delivery company Postmates to provide $100,000 worth of meals to L.A. communities, YG always makes race issues prominent in many of his creative works.
