Perfectly aligned with summer 2020 is the release of City Girls‘ highly anticipated album “City on Lock,” which follows their fan-favorite “Girl Code” project from 2018. This time around, City Girls tap in with Yo Gotti, Doja Cat, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby for guest appearances on their 15-track album. Ahead of the project’s release, City Girls delivered a great taste of what fans can expect with their music video for their all-new album cut “Jobs.” Flaunting their unique city girl style, Yung Miami and JT show viewers their bossy and luxurious lifestyle after deciding that they simply do not need to work because they are a job themselves.

While this week finds City Girls encountering another monumental time in their careers, it unfortunately may not seem that way for the girls as current times have proven tough towards the duo. Just a few hours prior to the official release of “City on Lock,” the duo quickly found that their new project was unfortunately leaked early online, which caused both Yung Miami and JT to vent their frustrations via social media.

Earlier this week, Yung Miami also suffered the unfortunate loss of her 6-year-old son’s father, Jai Wiggins, and paid tribute to him with a post and photo where the rapper states, “Babies 1st words are DADA & that’s what you are a FATHER to Jai. You & Jai is peanut butter & jelly always together. One thing about you, you don’t play about your son! So humble, quiet & uplifting. I hate this happen to you Jai you didn’t deserve this! Need you Jai.” While Yung Miami is mourning, her partner and best friend JT has made it clear that she is supporting her as she also took to social media and stated, “Caresha don’t deserve this s**t, my baby haven’t really caught a break in years always being forced to be strong. God send her a miracle her heart so broken & mine is too.”
