Shortly after revealing her new initiative in support of black businesses, Beyonce has dropped an all-new record named “Black Parade.” Beyonce’s latest record comes in celebration of Juneteenth and follows her COVID-19 relief campaign, which generated $6 million in funds and launched a Houston testing site. In addition to giving fans new music to vibe to on the holiday, the funds raised via Beyonce’s Black Parade initiative will go towards BeyGOOD’s Black Business Impact Fund. Also available now via Beyonce’s BeyGOOD charity foundation is an online directory highlighting a variety of black-owned businesses that we can all support.

In regards to her new initative, Beyonce took to Instagram to state, “Happy Juneteenth Weekend! I hope we continue to share joy and celebrate each other, even in the midst of struggle. Please continue to remember our beauty, strength and power. Being Black is your activism. Black excellence is a form of protest. Black joy is your right.” In addition to launching her own program in support of the black community, Beyonce recently shared her open letter in demand of justice for both Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, who lost their lives this year due to police brutality and racial injustice.
