Drake Releases “Dark Lane Demo Tapes” & Unveils 6th Studio Album Coming in Summer 2020

As a great surprise to fans, rapper Drake has officially dropped off his brand new mixtape “Dark Lane Demo Tapes.” Delivering a fresh collection of music for fans, Drake’s latest project includes 14 tracks and features from Chris Brown, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, and Giveon. Songs appearing on Drake’s new project are a mixture of SoundCloud releases, previously leaked music, and “new vibes” according to Drizzy.

In addition to Drake’s mixtape release, the hip-hop star also shared the news that his sixth studio album is expected to be out this upcoming summer. While Drake’s last studio album “Scorpion” was released about two years ago in 2018, the rapper has kept his momentum pumping as he has pumped out multiple singles and features since the album’s release with “Toosie Slide” being his latest success; the popular dance record has snatched the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100, which has made Drake the first male artist to debut three songs in the Hot 100 at no. 1, tying the rapper with singer Mariah Carey for the no. 1 debuts record.
