While topping the charts with hit single “The Box,” which remains as the No. 1 song in the country for its second week in a row on the Billboard Hot 100, Roddy Ricch is now focusing on a visual to another one of his classics titled “Boom Boom Room,” another song from the debut album Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.
The success of the No. 1 song “The Box” has created numbers for the album, moving over 100k units last week. Although managing to block Justin Beiber’s single “Yummy” from grabbing the top spot, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial currently reigns at No. 2 on the albums chart following the No. 1 debut of Selena Gomez’s Rare.
Directed by Christian Breslauer, the Compton singer/rapper encounters a car accident at the beginning of the video, he then stumbles upon a “boom boom room” as he enters a space full of dark fantasies. Catch the video in full via YouTube below.
Roddy is currently out on tour in support of debut album Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, which is completely sold out. Catch Roddy at the Grammy’s ceremony this weekend, as he is nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for Nipsey Hussle and Hit-Boy’s “Racks in the Middle.”
