From her latest EP, ICONOLOGY, the song “Why I Still Love You” relates to every girl who still has a thing for that guy she just can’t get off her mind.

The song is the fourth track off ICONOLOGY, which follows her hit singles, “Throw it Back” and “DripDemeanor.” The video is a timeline-inspired story which follows a woman in different eras of Missy: ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.

As Missy blesses us with new music, we can finally see her career being recognized for her hard work and trailblazing influence. The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards was the perfect tribute Missy deserved that paid homage to her iconic hits and music videos.
