MelodyVR launched last year and is one of the leading virtual reality music platforms in the industry. Their goal has been to give music fans all around the world the same experience they can get from a concert from the comfort of their own home, breaking down barriers like expensive tickets, age limits and exclusivity at shows. The platform has just announced that a performance each from Future, Khalid and Gunna are now being offered on demand on their app which you can download here. They are available on smartphones and VR headsets.

Khalid’s performance is taken from his tour stop at The O2 Arena in London and Future and Gunna’s are their performances at Wireless Festival in the summer. Users will be able to select multiple jump spots to pick where they watch from, whether that be in the crowd or right there on stage, for a fully immersive 360° experience.

Khalid: The O2, London, UK

Captured during his blockbuster “Free Spirit Tour,” this impressive production sees 5x GRAMMY® Award-nominated R&B singer-songwriter Khalid performing such hits as “Young, Dumb & Broke,” “Eastside,” and “Talk” alongside energetic dancers, incredible musicians and infinite good vibes.

“My fans are the most important thing to me,” says Khalid, “so I’m really excited that MelodyVR will be playing my O2 show in virtual reality and I can share that up-close experience with you guys all over the world.”

Future: Wireless Festival 2019, London, UK

Known for his fluid and melodic vocal style, Future and his crew lit up the sold-out Wireless faithful with searing takes on such hits as “Mask Of,” “Jumpman,” and many more.

Gunna: Wireless Festival 2019, London, UK

Rising rap superstar Gunna – a.k.a. The King of Drip – stole the show at 2019’s Wireless Festival, the three-day multi-artist event held annually in London’s Finsbury Park. In a world-first, Wireless 2019 was the first festival to ever have been broadcast live in VR, allowing thousands of fans that were unable to get their hands on tickets the chance to see their heroes. Today’s premiere marks the performance’s first-time availability on-demand, allowing fans around the world to get up close and personal with the acclaimed Georgia-based rapper.
