When speaking about “Hot Pink” to Los Angeles Times, Doja Cat admits, “My last album was me super high all the time,” as she quit smoking weed to focus on crafting her project. Doja continues, “I’ve never been more concise and clear and levelheaded.”

After releasing her first single, “So High,” on SoundCloud in 2013, Doja Cat began to quickly rise in the hip-hop industry. In 2018, the femcee shared her debut album, “Amala,” with the world. With the release of her follow-up LP “Hot Pink,” the rising star continues to leave her mark on today’s evolving music scene.
