In honor and celebration of one of Future’s most iconic mixtapes Monster, he has released the project on all streaming platforms on Monday (Oct. 28), which is the beloved mixtape’s five-year anniversary.

Monster, executively produced by Metro Boomin originally dropped back in 2014. Serving as Future’s thirteenth mixtape, Monster was a major contribution that catapulted Future to where he is today alongside other major mixtapes Beast Mode and 56 Nights. The mixtape includes some of Future’s greatest hits such as “My Savages,” “Codeine Crazy,” and “Fuck Up Some Commas.”

Since “Fuck Up Some Commas” became the first single for his 2015 album Dirty Sprite 2, it is not included in the streaming service version. The original intro and his “Abu’s Boomin” skit is also not included in the new version of Monster.

Announcing the release via Instagram, Future goes by paying respect to his late engineer Seth Firkins and his fans for riding with him through it all.

The re-release of Monster comes shortly after Future uploaded a snippet of him and Drake working on new music again. The snippet contained a song that appeared to be a brief portion of Drake’s verse and a split second of Future’s verse. Let’s hope that we can expect that What A Time To Be Alive joint project very soon!
