YFN Lucci & Yungeen Ace Drop New Music Video “Ride For Me”: Watch
by Staff Editor
Representing the next wave of Atlanta sound, singer and rapper YFN Lucci released his Gangsta Grillz mixtape 650Luc earlier this year. Off the fiery 17-track tape, songs titled “All Night Long” featuring Trey Songz and “Ride For Me” were standouts. Following up to their steamy video release of “All Night Long,” ATL’s Lucci releases his new video for “Ride For Me” featuring Yungeen Ace.
In the video, Lucci is hurt by the fact that his girl isn’t the ride-or-die woman she portrayed herself to be. After having their disagreements, the former lovers part ways as they fall into the arms of other people.
“This song is a message to let women know that as men we need a ride-or-die and not a nagger,” Lucci tells VIBE.
Striking a deal with TIG Records in 2014, Lucci calmly developed into one of ATL’s most powerful voices. The ATL native has been featured on XXL’s “50 Best Hip-Hop Songs of 2016” and Vibe’s “The 60 Best Songs of 2016” list. Forbes proclaimed Lucci among “5 Breakout Hip-Hop Artists to Watch This Summer” and Billboard dubbed him one of the “Top 10 Hip-Hop & R&B Artists to Watch in 2017.”
