Kanye West’s ‘Jesus Is King’ Album Has Finally Dropped

Kanye West has finally released  Jesus Is King on Friday afternoon (Oct. 25) after multiple delays. However, fans are turning to Twitter to give a their opinion and reactions on the gospel rap album.

“Bro Kanye finna turn be back into a Christian,” one fan tweeted after listening to the long-awaited spiritual project featuring West’s Sunday Service Choir, Ty Dolla $ign, Clipse, Kenny G and others.

One track in particular got several listeners attention. “Closed On Sunday” generates tons memes connected to West’s shout-out of popular fast food chain Chik-Fil-A in the song’s lyrics. “Closed on Sunday/ You my Chik-Fil-A/ Hold the selfies/ Put the ‘gram away/ Get your family/ Y’all hold hands and pray.” 

Before dropping Jesus Is King, the rapper Also announced that he’d be releasing a second Christian-centric album — appropriately titled Jesus Is Born — on Christmas Day. Listen to the album here:
