Rapper French Montana has played an instrumental role in advocating for immigrants rights and as a result was announced the first ever “I Stand With Immigrants” Ambassador. As an immigrant himself, the Moroccan rapped has continuously addressed the issues pertaining to the community as well as celebrate the contributions of those who migrated to America.

The new program will support immigrants living in the Bronx by bringing their technology programs to local high schools for an Exploring Technology curriculum. These skills will ensure the kids are better prepared to succeed in college, the future of work, and careers in STEM.

This role was announced along with the launch of the Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship Program at The Knowledge House (TKH) in the Bronx, a new partnership between Montana, The Knowledge House, and FWD.us.

“I’m blessed to give back to my community that has given so much to me. As a kid from the Bronx, it’s important for me to arm them with tools they can use to create a great future for themselves”
