The NFL in conjunction with Roc Nation today announced that they would kick off the first of many initiatives to marry music and social change together within the league which has been historically against the latter. ‘Inspire Change Apparel’ will support ‘Inspire Change’ initiatives across the country. The first line of business is adopting ambassadors of the program, some of it’s founding initiates will be Meek Mill, Rapsody and Meghan Trainor.

Proceeds from these ventures reportedly are committed to key priorities: education, economic empowerment, police and community relations, and criminal justice reform. Songs of the Season is a multi-tier, season-long initiative that highlights superstars and emerging artists from all genres.

The songs will reportedly debut during in-game broadcasts and simultaneously be distributed through all streaming platforms worldwide. The first Inspire Change ambassadors will begin the 2019 NFL season with a free concert at the NFL Kickoff Experience presented by EA Sports’ Madden NFL 20 in Chicago’s Grant Park, Thursday September 5. Following Meek Mill’s performance the spectators are encouraged to watch the following Green Bay, Chicago game. Let us know what you think of the latest courtship between JAY Z and the NFL below.
